Once you have capitalized on marketing through the web, there are some other great opportunities that you can utilize in your favor to really gain some new quality business. One very effective way that we have found to promote your company would be at trade show events. Obtaining quality trade show displays and creating a top notch marketing strategy can improve your conversion rate at a trade expo.
One of the biggest mistakes that companies make when they attend a trade show is that they don’t do enough planning on how to captivate, educate and leave a memorable mark in their visitors mind. Some of the easiest ways to do this is to think outside of the box in ways to capture the audience, supply customers with valuable information and give visitors something memorable to take home that won’t simply be thrown away.
When I think back to trade show events, I remember the companies that had something interesting to show, or had an interesting way of showing what they had to offer. Even more, I remember the companies that gave me something that I wanted to hold on to and used regularly. If you are able to provide your visitors with freebies that they will see weekly as a reminder, that can be an excellent way to improve your conversion rates. You are already investing several hundred or thousand dollars to attend the event, you might as well make a slightly larger investment to make sure that your time spent their is worth while.
So, the next time you are trying to think of an innovative marketing method to try for your business, take some time to consider attending an expo or trade show, the results could be amazing!
