Go Daddy Launches Fax Thru Email
(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- The Go Daddy Group, Inc. (godaddy.com), parent company of domain name registrar GoDaddy.com, announced on Thursday that it had introduced a new service, Fax Thru Email, allowing customers to send and receive faxes via any email client, including WebMail, Outlook, and Eudora.
Fax Thru Email customers are given their own personal Arizona-based phone number to use for both sending and receiving faxes over the Internet. Inbound faxes are converted to PDF files and routed to a desired email address, where they can be downloaded onto the user's computer.
Outbound faxes are sent from the user's email address to a designated fax number, which can either be another Fax Thru Email account, or a traditional fax machine.
"While Go Daddy already offers a full suite of products and services that simplify and enhance the Internet experience, we feel it is important to continually expand our offerings," says Bob Parsons, president and founder of The Go Daddy Group. "Fax Thru Email service is yet another product developed in direct response to customer requests."
